2011 Preakness 5K

The 2011 Preakness 5K benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure® will start and finish at historic Pimlico Race Course. Walk or run the course which takes you around the same dirt track the horses use on Preakness Day and venture around the grounds at the Pimlico Race Track including past the thoroughbred horse stables. MECU's Pee Wee Preakness

Just for Kids, MECU Baltimore's Credit Union presents the Pee Wee Preakness, where tiny tots will bounce their way to the finish line on roly-poly Hippity Hops. The "Mini Preakness" will take place a the Federal Hill Park in Downtown Baltimore.

Hot Air Balloon Festival at Turf Valley

Celebrate the People's Pink Party on Black-Eyed Susan Day, featuring the 87th running of the Black-Eyed Susan for 3-year old fillies. The Maryland Jockey Club is proud to partner with Susan G. Komen for the Cure® to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research and community outreach programs. Witness history in the making with the return of legendary, retired female riders, the Legends for the CureTM, and much more! Join the People's Pink Party on Preakness Eve to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. The Maryland Jockey Club will donate 10% of all Black-Eyed Susan Day Turfside Terrace sales to Komen for the Cure*. 136th Running of the Preakness Stakes
